12weekShred – Goals (Part 2)

Before you follow on the program, you need to figure out the reason behind your decision lose weight. This reason should be compelling such that it drives you to success. This is the psychological aspect of weight loss. Your reason will ensure you do not put back all the shredded weight after some months. Your reason should even be EMOTIONAL such that your inability to achieve it should make you cry. Yes, this will show your determination. Overall, your weight loss goal should be measurable and time-bound.

Some of the good reasons include to:

  • Return to my college weight of (weight) so I can FEEL confident, strong, and fit again before the end of December 2019
  • Get in shape by shedding 45 pounds to CONTEST in the 2020 world marathon
  • Lose about 45 pounds by 31st December so I can TEACH others how to achieve what I have achieved
  • Get the 6 pack abs I’ve always wanted and to show them off on my next holiday at the beach
  • Get motivated

For a greater chance of success, focus first on losing the fat and then, on building muscle. When you have a good low body fat foundation, it will make you to easily stack muscle (bulk or lean) on its top. While trying to lose fat, you will have to burn fat tissues, just like a car burns fuel. This process is known as fatty-acid oxidation. It will help you attain a calorie deficit. Normally, a healthy diet and training regimen will have both exercise and caloric restriction incorporated. That is exactly what this 12-Week Shred Program employs. Have your food calories controlled and ensure your metabolism keeps burning to achieve your dream weight.
