Has anyone here ever played DDR? It’s known as Dance Dance Revolution, and it’s a video game where you try to math the beats in a song. You play on a dance mat with arrows going up, down, right & left. I used to play it a lot to help with losing weight, but haven’t played it in years. I’m thinking of dusting off the old dance mat and getting some sessions in.

Anyone here ever use it to help lose weight?

A lot of people actually use DDR to lose weight. It’s big in Japan, where they have arcades filled with DDR machines. I only briefly played ddr, but from what I did play, it was actually a decent workout. I can see people losing weight playing it. Kind of wish they still made this game today though. They haven’t made a new one in the states since like 2006 I think. It’s been a long time.

Oh, yes I remember it, t was a big thing some years ago, really was fun. Even I remember a Super Mario version.

To lose weight you would have to be regular on it. I never played it with such intention really.
