I’m still a bit fresh when it comes to weight training and fitness in general, but I like to think I know enough. But I do have questions, and sometimes they may be bad, but I don’t know. Anyway, with all that being said. I may have a dumb question, I’m not sure. What would you say, is the best time to work muscles? I imagine there are times in the day our bodies are working best, and I figure if there is a time your body is more ready for it, what would that time be?

I feel like working muscles mid day would be best, but I also imagine that it’s best in the morning due to your body waking up. I figure it would be the best time to wake those muscles up.

But I’m serious, is there a best time during the day to work your muscles?

There really is no universal best time – It’s all about the individual. Pick the time you feel works the best for you and gives you the best workout possible.

I typically workout at 5 in the morning as I feel like I have plenty of energy, I’m not tired and it makes me feel great for the day ahead.

Brad (SPW personal trainer) finds working out at late at night works best for him. Again, everyone is different.
