How to get rid of love handles

One issue I have with weight loss, is that each time I’ve done it, I could never get rid of my love handles. They always stick around and bother me. What are some ways of actually combating love handles? Can you lose them? Or am I going to have to deal with them my whole life?

I think a lot of it is genetics, unfortunately. People store their fat in different ways. “Spot reduction” is a myth, so you can never really target a specific area to lose fat in, aside from surgery, all you can do is try to lose as much body fat as possible overall.
