This recipe can make around 6-7 pancakes.
Ingredients
Milk – 110 ml
One medium egg
Flour – 100 gr
Baking powder – 1\4 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Vanilla protein powder – 60 gr
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Pinch of salt
The process
To start with, divide the egg into protein and yolk. Put the yolk in a bowl.
Add the milk, protein powder, sugar and a pinch of salt to the yolk. Not interested in vanilla protein? You can replace the vanilla protein with any other flavoured protein powder (eg. chocolate, strawberry, coffee, banana, etc.) Mix everything well until the mixture is smooth.
Add the olive oil to the mixed ingredients and mix well again.
Sift flour and mix with baking powder, add to batter. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
Beat the egg whites until they are dense peaks and gently mix into the batter. This will ensure your pancakes will be big and fluffy in appearance.
Bake pancakes in a dry non-stick pan under a lid.
After around 10 minutes they should be ready to serve!
